The Structure has been placed on the side of a cliff. The bottom claw is crawling up the side of the cliff, working its way to the top. Just as those that evolve must climb to the top to survive. The finger elements also act at structural members placed into the cliff. On the top of the environment, hawking's lab sits. Access into the structure would be gained my elevator. The entire structure sits on the environment defying gravity, one of the very theories Hawking studied.
This particular axonometric was chosen to be developed for experiment 2. The top half is the Hawking Lab and the bottom Darwins lab. Darwin's lab (bottom) was created in this way to represent a claw.
